Developed by Genesis Nonprofit Housing, in partnership with Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids Nonprofit Housing Corporation and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Tribe of Michigan, Leonard Senior Apartments benefits from the expertise and commitment of a team with a strong history of affordable housing development. Genesis founded in 1998, has successfully developed eight LIHTC properties in Grand Rapids, totaling 315 units and continues to be a leader in providing affordable housing solutions in the area.
Dwelling Place, a community development corporation formed in 1980 brings decades of experience in developing and preserving affordable housing in Michigan. Through 27 LIHTC and government-assisted projects, Dwelling Place has directly developed over 1,195 units, contributing to the stabilization of communities and the improvement of quality of life for low-income residents. Both Genesis and Dwelling Place are long term clients of Huntington Bank, and we are pleased to continue growing our relationship with them on this impactful project.
