Property units will be restricted to households earning a maximum of 50% of area median income (AMI), with 83 units reserved for households earning less than 40% of AMI. Crestview Terrace will designate 34 units to support residents experiencing homelessness, and the property will also benefit from the renewal of a 20-year project-based Section 8 contract supporting 163 of the 168 units.
Huntington Community Impact Capital (CIC) is proud to partner with Community Preservation Partners (CPP) on the rehabilitation and preservation of Crestview Terrace Apartments. CPP is the nationally recognized LIHTC development arm of WNC & Associates Inc., with offices in Irvine, California and Reston, Virginia. CIC is providing $19.2 million in direct Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity to preserve this affordable housing in Ellensburg, Washington.
HopeSource, an Ellensburg, Washington-based nonprofit organization focused on a wide range of human services in Kittitas County since 1966 and will provide supportive services at the property.
