Huntington Community Impact Capital (CIC) played a key role in financing the development providing construction financing for Phase 1 in 2019, which delivered 50 family units. Now in Phase 2, Huntington CIC is furthering its commitment by providing a $3.65 million construction loan to add 26 additional units, which will have access to the shared amenities of Andy’s Place. Additionally, through its participation in a third-party multi-investor LIHTC fund, Huntington CIC has invested $1.1 million in equity. This phase will introduce enhanced onsite supportive services, specifically designed to assist pregnant women and families with infants who are navigating the recovery process.
Andy’s Place provides fully furnished apartments, 24/7 security, and a comprehensive range of support services, including case management and recovery programs overseen by the Michigan Drug Treatment Courts. Residents also have access to recreational activities, life skills training, financial literacy and employment readiness classes, as well as wellness and sober living events – all designed to foster long-term stability and independence.
Huntington CIC is proud to support this highly impactful and collaborative effort to provide permanent supportive recovery housing for individuals in need. By investing in this development, we are helping to create safe, stable and supportive environment where residents can rebuild their lives, maintain recovery, and achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
