Heath Campbell is the Executive Managing Director & Regional President of Huntington National Bank in the Carolinas.
As a seasoned financial executive with over two decades of experience in the banking industry, Campbell will oversee the bank's operations and growth strategies across North and South Carolina, driving business development, client relationship management, and community engagement activities.
Prior to joining Huntington in 2023, Campbell held a distinguished career at Truist Bank, where he most recently served as President for North Carolina West During his tenure at Truist, he played a pivotal role in expanding the bank's presence in the Carolinas, leading a team of over 500 employees and generating significant revenue growth.
Campbell served as a member of the Truist Senior Leadership Team, while also serving as the most senior ranking member of the Community Bank in the North Carolina West Region. Campbell's primary responsibility was to serve as the Chief Integrator within this market by leading and facilitating a comprehensive financial services team consisting of banking, insurance and investments in the newly headquartered Region at Truist.
Campbell has an outstanding record of achievement throughout his tenure in the banking industry and is widely recognized as an intuitive thinker driven to overcoming challenges by conceiving and effectively integrating creative leadership strategies.
Campbell is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. He also holds an Advanced Banking Certification, BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University.
Heath and his wife, Kristi, and their two young children are proud to call Charlotte, North Carolina home.
Campbell currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, Charlotte Sports Foundation, Good Fellows Club, and Co-Chaired a Capital Campaign for the Charlotte Rescue Mission with former Mayor Harvey Gantt.
