About Donnell
Donnell White is Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. He is responsible for all of Huntington’s efforts to foster a culture of inclusion, advocate for equity, cultivate a sense of belonging for all colleagues at the bank, and ensure Huntington is a leading employer in DEI.
White previously served as Senior Vice President and Regional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director. In this role he was instrumental in leading several strategies, including driving engagement with Huntington’s annual DEI Awards, deepening DEI on the regional level with the expansion of regional Business Resource Group chapters across the company, and elevating Huntington’s brand nationally through various partnerships. White joined Huntington in 2021 with the merger of TCF National Bank, where he was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer and Director of Strategic Partnerships.
White is an active member in the community. He serves as a board member of the National Diversity Council, Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, and Arab American and Chaldean Council. In addition, White serves on the Michigan Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) Leadership Council, Grow Michigan Board of Managers, Wayne State University President’s Community Advisory Group, Focus Hope Advisory Group, Coalition for Black and Jewish Unity Advisory Group, and the Michigan State Police Citizen’s Advisory Council. He is Board Trustee for Michigan Children’s Foundation, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Public Safety Foundation, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Foundation.
White is a Certified Diversity Professional through the National Diversity Council and The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business Executive Program. White resides in Detroit, Michigan with his wife Gabrielle.
